This support from the hotel was very much appreciated! On the other hand, my sister felt unwell one day and we had excellent support from the hotel with onsite security and medical people attending my sister, calling the ambulance, and supporting the ambulance workers. After complaining for the 3rd or 4th time, we returned to our room to find that it had been cleaned. After a couple of days, we followed the instructions to request room cleaning, informed the front desk, and still our room was not on the list for cleaning. It seems that the hotel is unwilling to provide sufficient staffing for these predictably busy times.Ī new rule is that you only get cleaning if you request it 24 hrs in advance. BUT if they asked the cleaning services, they would be able to fix it before the clients complained!Įvery day walking past the check-in desk, there were very long lines - for people checking out and later for people checking in. Our shower did not work properly and when we mentioned it, the management responded that the only way they can know that the rooms have problems is if their clients care enough to report problems. Unfortunately, the property appears to have declined. We had stayed there many times over the years. My sister & I were looking forward to the luxury of a week-long stay at the Golden Nugget.
